Established in l994, COSAFE (Camp Owners Secured Against Fire & Illegal Entry) seeks to deter
criminal acts against its member-camps by offering a graduated system of rewards
in the amounts of: $500 - $1000 - $5000.

COSAFE is not an insurance policy but an active plan to deter criminal activity through its system of rewards.
It alerts criminals/vandals that they cannot harm a COSAFE camp and simply walk away from it.
A reward will be posted in local papers and be placed throughout area media outlets seeking
information leading to the arrest and conviction of the criminals involved.
